Be free, be wild, explore & wonder.

At Fundo Panguilemu, we promote environmentally responsible tourism and sustainable farming that leaves the planet better than the way we received it. We treat our animals with respect, in a peaceful environment. We believe in constant regeneration of our soil, and food production that has the least impact to the natural state of things. Through agro-tourism, we are seeking ways to teach others about our holistic model by sharing our way of life that we truly believe will contribute to regeneration of a healthy planet.

A Highlight for Sure! Una experiencia marvaillosa
Our time at Fundo Panguilemu was the highlight of our trip to Coyhaique. They have a beautiful spot with fantastic views of the valley and Rio Simpson. We thoroughly enjoyed our horseback ride. We were then treated to an amazing tea/snack prepared by Lizzy-a great surprise at the end of the ride with homemade bread, waffles and yummy toppings. The customer service is great-Lizzy was very accommodating and went over the top, even offering her own jacket and gloves to some other guests who had not dressed warmly enough. I completely recommend including a visit to Fundo Panguilemu and we certainly hope to come back soon! It is truly an endeavor created with lots of love and hard work.

THE ROUTE OF PARKS

For anyone who has already tackled North America's longest and most beautiful trails, there's a new path beckoning from South America.  A new 1,740-mile hiking trail has opened in Chile. Stretching from Puerto Montt in the north to Cape Horn in the South. The trail connects 17 different national parks, offering travelers access to the Andes Mountain, forests and even a few volcanoes. This trail, called the La Ruta de los Parques,

The Route of Parks is the result of the conservation efforts of Doug and Kris Tompkins and Tompkins Conservation. The couple purchased millions of acres of land in Chile to preserve them as national parks. In March 2017, Kris McDivitt Tompkins donated swatches of land to the Chilean government so that land could be deeded to add to or create new national parks.
